Goats Sing the 'Game of Thrones' Theme Song

Goats Sing the 'Game of Thrones' Theme Song

The popularity of the HBO series "Game of Thrones" has transcended to viral videos involving animals. In 2012, a video was uploaded to YouTube of a cat meowing the show's theme song. With the show now back for its third season, we have a compilation of goats bleating to the theme song.
Spanish comedy site Marca Blanca produced the video, titled "GAME OF GOATS (Game of Thrones Goat Version) #GOaT." Get it? G-O-T and G-O-A-T. Anyway, the mash up stars the Internet's most famous goats and a few sheep. All of the clips are edited to sound like each animal is bleating a different part of the song. Marca Blanca used the show's actual open to start the video and put the theme in there to back the goats. The clip ends with a custom "Game of Goats" graphic.
Goats and sheep that bleat like humans plus "Game of Thrones" clearly equals an Internet home run. The video, which was uploaded on Wednesday, already has over 1.1 million views. Maybe you are thinking, "You have goat to be kidding me, right?" You are not alone in that thought, as other YouTube commenters have posted the exact same thing. But yes, the video and its view count are real.
If for some reason you need goats without the HBO show, then perhaps this super cut of goats bleating is more your speed. It was uploaded a year ago and has north of 23 million hits.

Time-Lapse Video Shows Girl Growing Up From a Baby to a Teenager

Time-Lapse Video Shows Girl Growing Up From a Baby to a Teenager

Time-lapse videos that involve inanimate objects can pique curiosity. But those clips that involve humans, or rather a single human, always seem to gain a lot of popularity on the Internet.
Such is the case for a video uploaded last Thursday by Dutch filmmaker Frans Hofmeester. His YouTube post is titled "Portrait of Lotte - 0 to 14 years in 4 min." In the clip, Hofmeester's daughter Lotte grows up before our very eyes.

"I filmed my daughter every week, from birth up until she turned 14 years old [and] then made this time lapse edit," the filmmaker wrote in the video's description. It is currently closing in on a million views.
The time-lapse begins when Lotte is a baby, and spends the first 25 seconds on clips from the first year of her life. Lotte is moving in most of the clips, either laughing or talking to her dad off-camera. At 2 minutes and 10 seconds, Hofmeester switches to a more full-color look, as we see Lotte change hairstyles, switch between eyeglasses, and begin to wear braces.
"She was changing at such a rapid pace, that I felt the need to document the way she looked, to keep my memories intact," the father said on his website, noting that the baby blanket serving as the white background was the only constant throughout the video. "Other people might make a photo book, but I decided to film."
Lotte was born in 1999 and turned 14 on Oct. 28 of last year. Hofmeester also made a similar video of his son Vince, who is 11 years old. That time-lapse covers the first 11 years of his life and has more than 144,000 views.

Walkman players now seem ancient by almost any standard; the last cassette version we could find was made in 2003. Sony carried the franchise into portable CD and MP3 players, but eventually Apple and other phone manufacturers took over the market. Fast-forward to 2014, and there is now a whole generation of kids who have no recollection of or association with the term

That leads us to a video uploaded on Sunday by the Fine Brothers. Benny and Rafi Fine are known on YouTube for their "Kids React" series. They film children reacting to pop culture and news items both past and present. Some of the most popular clips include kids offering opinions on "Gangnam Style," gay marriage, and Rebecca Black's song "Friday."
The Fine Brothers' latest video features kids reacting to a Sony Walkman, of the cassette player variety. Children are simply dumbfounded by the device. Most begin by asking, "What is this?" when it is handed to them. With a little assistance, they figure out the Walkman's purpose and how to operate it. Ultimately, they remain unimpressed.
"I could not imagine living in your guys' days with this," 9-year-old Shannon concluded. Earlier in the video he wondered, "What do I do, press play?"
"I feel bad for the people that lived in the '90s," another 9-year-old, named Krischelle, said. She initially thought the Walkman was a phone until she held it and asked, "What is this thing?"
"Kids React to Walkmans (Portable Cassette Players)" already has more than a million views. It also probably has a few millennials feeling old, and thankful that they do not have to skip to the next track by holding down the fast-forward button.

GTA 5 PC Release Date In Early 2014? Sources Reveal A Possible February Release

GTA 5 PC version's release date is still in the dark, after the rumors for a Christmas Eve release date were proven to be untrue. However, now more updates of the popular game's release date are arising.

A new alleged release date for GTA 5 is now suggested as February. An anonymous Amazon worker told the Sixth Axis when the company is expecting the game, but that it is still unknown.
"Unfortunately we do not have an exact date for it to be in stock as of yet. You may think of to contact Rockstar for further information. We are expecting it next year by February, but no clear date is guaranteed for now," the Amazon employee stated.

Another source claims that the release date is sometime in mid-March. According to International Business Time, a Norwegian retailer's pre-order page said that GTA V PC version will be released on March 18. While this is still not confirmed, leaks such as from this retailer are often accurate.

A February release date may also be too soon since no GTA 5 PC versions have been leaked. Before the game was released on game consoles, it was leaked on many Torrent sites. However, the PC version can't be found anywhere online, possibly because the game is still being developed.
There still hasn't been any announcement of a PC version by Rockstar, but fans are eagerly waiting for any tiny tip available. An online petition for the GTA V PC version has more than 500,000 signatures. Earlier the petition read, "I can't believe we've gotten to 100,000 signatures! It's unbelievable. Keep sharing this and we'll catch Rockstar's eye in no time. They must know we exist by now!"

Rockstar was keeping quiet about the PC version, but perhaps the company has now spotted the Petition. The developer recently started replying to fans by saying, "Keep an eye out for info on that on our newswire page: http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire."

GTA 5 is currently on XBox 360 and Playstation 3.
